Spintso Refcom II Pro ready for HockeyAllsvenskan

Refcom II Pro – our new flagship product for referee communication – is here.

Developed for referees, by referees. With support for up to six users simultaneously, advanced features, and the ability to connect to both PA systems and VAR, this is our most powerful system to date. After an intense development phase, it is now confirmed that all referees in HockeyAllsvenskan will be using Spintso Refcom II Pro starting from the 2025 season kickoff.

– We’ve been working very hard for a long time to create a powerful product that is truly optimized for ice hockey referees and their environment, but of course also adaptable to other sports where users can adjust the settings to fit their setup. In this product, we’ve developed several modes, giving us greater flexibility for other countries and sports that use different referee configurations, says Nicklas Östh, CEO at Spintso. We’re happy that our collaboration with HockeyAllsvenskan, which has demanded a lot from us, is now finalized, and we look forward to the start of the hockey season.

Refcom II Pro is designed with a strong focus on stability, range, and adaptability. It’s easy to use and built to handle loud arenas, fast-paced gameplay, and the unique conditions that come with ice hockey.

– We’re satisfied with what Spintso has developed for us, where we can easily communicate among four referees. Two head referees can talk to each other, while the linesmen can hear what’s being said, communicate among themselves, and speak with us head referees using the PTT button, says Niklas Johansson, referee in HockeyAllsvenskan. The audio from us referees is also optimized for the PA system and these large arenas and challenging sound environments. Referees also have easy access to the button that allows them to speak through the arena speaker system.
