Three quick questions with elite referee Granit Maqedonci

We had three quick questions with Granit Maqedonci after the premiere of Allsvenskan 2023 between Hammarby and Degerfors. Hammarby came out victorious with a score of 3-1.

1. Hi Granit. Finally the premiere of Allsvenskan 2023. Have you been looking forward to the season?
   
   – Hello. Starting a new season is always special. You have been preparing for months and are eager to kick off a match. Supporters are very expectant and looking forward to seeing their team. For me, it feels a bit like releasing the cows to pasture. You have been waiting to get started.

2. Releasing the cows to pasture, but with referees, interesting. Question number two then: How was the feeling during the premiere match
   
   – My premiere match had a fantastic atmosphere with 31 000 supporters present, it felt wonderful to kick off the match.
   

3. The blue jersey is nice! Which is your favorite among the colors of the referee jerseys?
   
   – I would probably say that the turquoise jersey is a favorite, I also like red and black, which means yellow ends up at the bottom of my list :)
